Dr. Diana Kopach is a graduate of the New York University Dental School. After having completed her dental degree in 2013, she completed an additional year of post-doctorate education as part of a General Practice Residency at Jamaica Hospital in Queens serving underprivileged patients.
Immediately out of residency, Dr. Kopach joined a holistic dental practice and was trained in the field of integrative biological dentistry by Dr. Alex Shvartsman. Her goal has been to provide her patients with exceptional dental care while maintaining a minimally invasive approach. Having been trained in Biomimetic Dentistry by the Nejad Institute, she restores teeth using the most “nature mimicking” techniques. A natural artist, she takes pride in creating beautiful smiles and dental restorations.
Dr. Kopach’s focus on patient comfort and a holistic approach to dental care makes her ideally suited to coordinate your dental treatment with your medical doctor, naturopath, chiropractor, acupuncturist, or other healthcare provider.
Out of the office, when not running after her four young children, Dr. Kopach enjoys reading, teaching dance, attending meditation retreats and actively pursuing a holistic lifestyle.
Nikolay Kopach has been active in sports his entire life and thus has always valued the importance of a healthy and harmonized body and mind. He pursued an education in Eastern medicine, earning a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, in addition to one in Massage Therapy. He thus takes pride in using various modalities, including needle therapy, reiki, cupping, herbal medicine, reflexology, essential oils, and Electro-Magnetic Field technology in helping his clients achieve their health goals. He is also a Reiki and Tai Chi practitioner, can teach Infant massage, and practices chair massage.
Nikolay provides his client’s with result oriented therapies that utilize a variety of modalities, with the primary focus given to the areas related to their diagnosis, dental or otherwise. His treatments can release tight muscles, relieve nerve compression, deactivate trigger points, decrease pain and inflammation, increase flexibility and range of motion, improve postural discrepancies, and calm the nervous system to alleviate stress and improve circulation.
I’m your Golden Tooth Fairy. It's my job to be your educator on all things oral hygiene and teach you just how your mouth and whole body are connected. It is always my pleasure to have you feeling heard, spotless and shinny when you leave my chair as well as have you feeling secure in a judgment free zone.
I fell in love with holistic dentistry the second I got out of dental hygiene school. When I finished school the first thing, I did was temp in a lot of different offices to see what every doctor was like out there and how they treated their patients. For me, that was the most important thing because I know for myself, I would only want the best which means that I could only provide the best. I have seen some truly awful things in the sense of treatment whether it is over treatment or even lack thereof.
My mother raised me to believe that the body can heal itself. It just needs the right environment filled with TLC -tender love and care. In the holistic healthcare world, we believe the same-that less is more and that with that special TLC we can help you to heal. I know that we will do absolutely everything in our power to be as minimally invasive as possible and give your body all that it needs to heal in a loving and tender way.
